On Sunday, October 25, two consecutive half-day training sessions will be conducted prior to the 2015 NERRS/NERRA annual meeting in Mobile, Alabama. There will be a morning “A Refreshing Intro to R” session for participants who are new to R, who need to brush up on their R skills, or who need some remedial help before tackling the SWMPr package. In the afternoon, we will have an “Introduction to SWMPr” session. SWMPr is a analysis and visualization package written by Marcus Beck that is designed specifically for accessing and analyzing data collected as part of the NERRS System-Wide Monitoring Program. Both sessions of this training will be "hands-on" with provided data sets and scripts, but will use the attendees’ own computers.
